They might be adorable but they eat like gannets ,Misha and Callie haven't met them yet ,but they know there are other cats in the flat ,Callie did see them for a few seconds when i opened their door .

Wow! Four cats will keep you on your toes! My first cat was named sooty. I also have two black rescue kittens. My pepe looks a bit like jet. Enjoy them, nothing cheers you up like a cuddle from a kitty when you are down.

Hi all ,had them for just over a week ,started adding wet food to their dry food, don't know what to do next .I did put them in my brother's bedroom for a few hours ,afterwards Callie was fine going in there ,but Misha started hissing ,during the day they spend a lot of time in my brother's bedroom and callie used to sleep on my bed part of the day.

I think it sounds like things are going well. Just continue gradual supervised exposure for Callie and Misha to the kittens. Misha will come around. Make sure to give Misha and Callie lots of love and reassurance.
I'm glad that the cats are great company for both you and your brother [emoji]10084[/emoji]️

Hi ,Jet and Sooty are a couple of escape artists ,sometimes if i am not careful thet slip past me when i open the door ,the last time it happened Jet came face to face with Misha ,Jet turned and ran and Misha was too surprised to hiss or growl ..

I did manage to get Misha to go to sleep on the chair in my brother's bedroom .

H,i earlier Callie was in one of the cat beds  on the sofa and Misha was outside so i shut the front door and let the kittens loose .Callie didn't take much notice of them when they came into the living room ,only a little hiss when i tried to sit by her with jet in my arms .

Later i tried the same with both of the cats ,a lot of hisses from Misha ,but he did go nose to nose with one of them without any trouble .

Misha just wandered in again ,might try it again .

Hi ,i will post the photos later ,the kittens spent the night in the kitchen with the door wedged ajar ,Misha came into my bedroom a couple of times gave some hisses then walked out ,woke up to find Callie on my bed .

The kittens don't respond to their names yet.

Hi ,here are my cats all is peaceful as long as they have their noses in their food bowls:lol3:
That is a wonderful sight!! Eating in each other's presence is an extecellent sign that things will sort themselves out [emoji]128077[/emoji] And hissing is to be expected but since that seems to be what the "hostility" is limited to, you are doing a wonderful job with the introductions!!

Hi ,thanks for the kind words ,tried it again tonight .Misha would not stay in the kitchen ,he would only eat when he was near the front door .

Only a small hiss from Callie when Jet went towards her after he had finished his food.

I'm sure there will be steps forward and steps back. It sounds like Callie is warming up a little faster than Misha but it's very positive that Misha is not being overtly aggressive towards Jet and Sooty.

Hi ,had the kittens 2 weeks now ,Misha has been coming into my bedroom to sleep for the last 2 nights ,just like he did when i first got him.

I have been locking the kittens in the kitchen at night , think tonight i will leave all the inside doors open so the 4 cats can made up their own mind about their sleeping spaces  Last week .Misha was sleeping on the cat tree in my profile photo ,not very comfy .

Callie is ok with the kittens as long as they keep their distance from her ,if they get too close she hisses at them .

Hi ,tried leaving all the inside doors open last night ,didn't work out .The kittens kept going up to Misha and Callie which freaked them out ,i had to lock the kittens in the kitchen again for the rest of the night .

They were ok eating together again .Don't know what my next step should be .When i get another harness i will see how they get on in the garden.

It takes a few months to a year before cats are really comfortable with each other, I think everything is going really well! Hissing is to be expected, especially when females are involved. It looks like one big happy family. I'm sure your girls are not excited about the newcomers, but they will have them whipped into shape pretty soon. I'm so glad you got two so they can be pals while all this transitioning is taking place. All the luck, and praying for many happy years together!
