Our maine coon cat ,Muse, continues to bring up large hairballs in spite of the fact that we give her 20th Century hairball Relief soft chews everyday.----I guess its good news that she does at least cough them up.

Can anybody recommend another product that may be more successful in controlling this menace.

Thank you so much

You can help her coat a lot by improving diet, making sure she gets a lot of animal protein and fat and few carbohydrates.  If you are feeding predominantly dry food, I would suggest adding wet food of good quality (mostly meat) a couple of times a day.  The ideal proportion of protein to fat in a dry food is 3:2, and that is hard to find these days.

Hi

Thank you for your reply---Muse eats mainly wet food but the quality maybe a problem.Being an ex-feral cat,she has a mind of her own.We tried her on many foods until she finally settled on Fancy Feast,Grilled chicken and beef.----can you recommend a quality canned food that you would feed to your own cat----her overall health is our min objective !!!!

Thank you
