Yes, this line of products looks interesting.  Has anyone priced them yet?  I'll guess that Nestle Purina will ask for a premium price for it.  One hiccup, however;

The ingredients for the Shredded Chicken and Beef meal, for example, are posted on the NP website as follows;

chicken, chicken broth, sunflower seed oil, calcium lactate, tricalcium phosophate, guar gum, xanthan gum, choline chloride, salt, potassium chloride, zinc sulfate, taurine, magnesium sulfate, ferrous sulfate, thiamine mononitrate, niacin, vitamin e supplement, calcium pantothenate, vitamin a supplement, manganese sulfate, copper sulfate, riboflavin supplement, pyridoxine hydrochloride, potassium iodide, folic acid, menadione sodium bisulfite complex (source of vitamin k activity), biotin, vitamin B-12 supplement

It's listed on the ones I bought, my fussy girl seems to like the chicken an beef, this is good to split two ways on top of their shared 5 oz can of pate!

Did they finally make the ones that used to be for supplemental feeding only into real food?
 Wonder if my store has the new ones or the old ones.

I did try their new treats from this line, moist chicken bits. But my cat is weird, sometimes he likes it and gobbles it up like a mini vacuum and sometimes acts like I'm trying to poison him

My cat will hardly touch these.  He loves the Fancy Feast Classics, it's one of the few foods he likes and he doesn't throw up on.  But I have tried a couple of these and he might lick them and then he won't touch them.  He'd rather starve!  Though he is incredibly picky!

Nestle Purina's stable of products is just too dadgum confusing.  I see little or no difference among the brands Purina One Smart Blend, Fancy Feast and Pro Plan.  Yes, some Fancy Feast and Pro Plan recipes are Grain Free, but the similarities don't end there.  So why then do I pay a premium price for Pro Plan True Nature?

THe Purely FF seems pretty good.
I ran the white meat chicken in broth guaranteed analysis numbers through a converter and got the calorie breakdown
74%protein
19%fat
7% carbs

I got the 2oz cup at WM for $1.12

I compare it to Tiki Cat, which is also high protein, a bit more fat, lower carb....2.8oz for $1.85 at Petco.

It’s not cheap by any means, but I think it’s an affordable way to more protein into their diet.

Fortunately, they eat it ok. :happycat:

I've been feeding Purely Fancy Feast for awhile and Ailish likes it. I try to buy it on sale because it isn't super cheap. WalMart usually has it for less than anywhere else.

No, but I wouldn't recommend it because it contains artificial colours and flavours, that brand. It is also considered to be lower quality food, amongst others like whiskas, iams, friskies, etc. All of these brands are like fast food. You can try some better quality brands like authority by petsmart? My cat loves that one and it's good too.

I have seen absolutely nothing in the Purely Fancy Feast trays that indicates it is junk food, or that it has artificial colors or flavors in it. Near as I can tell it's meat and vitamin supplements. And yes, guar gum. But NO grains or fillers whatsoever. It's also got a good food price, which is why I look for it on sale. All the flavors I have used look and smell exactly like the meat they purport to be.
