So I have several cats. Less than 9, more than 7. ;)

Luckily I live alone and they have plenty of space.

But the costs add up. 5 of them were rescued from the backyard over the years.

Im at maximus catness now.

My neighbor and I do a lot of TNR and I feed colonies.

Sadly, a young TNR'd cat showed up a month ago and I want to find a home or somewhere safer for him to reside.

The ferals around here are better off than this kitteh.

Why ? Because he acts like a total little outgoing lovebug. I thought for a while that even though he was TNR'd, he was someone's indoor/outdoor cat.

But now he hangs around my patio all day and night.

The problem is is that my neighbor who hates cats and once bragged about killing a bag full of kittens (decades ago I imagine cause she is older than time itself) is still alive and kicking. Plus I have mentioned that the neighborhood is not cat or wildlife friendly. I honestly think the majority of these neighbors would be happy in sterile, lifeless neighborhood as long as they had their tiny perfectly manicured yards.

The teens who roam here also seem like little bad punks.

So I really want to find somewhere I can take this sweet little boy.

Plus I imagine he is related to all my former ferals.

He is the spitting image of my cat, Hunter.

Any lists or contacts in DC, MD and VA area appreciated.

I have no contacts but you might try Alley Cat Allies (alleycat.org).  I think they have a list of rescues and shelters by state.

Thank you so much for helping this little man.
