Out side digital says 40 degrees. Supposed to get up to mid 80s. Too cold for the babies to be out. Crate cleaned, babies and mama loved on Back into to covered crate. Mercy is becoming a lurker. She wants the wudgies. Babies are taking some formula off my finger.
Every time I start to feel guilty about all this I remind myself that the other option was not doing anything or taking them to a shelter that does not have a no-kill policy. Mercy's intake was a t4 weeks and she was fostered. I'm guessing she was pulled off the street.
Oh one of the babies has discovered it's own feet.

OK...I'm back, and thrilled at the progress. I know your heart aches over Tera, but you did find a top notch rescues, and Froggy and Toad (I'm still fond of Meatball and Crabcake, myself) will give Miss Mercy someone to play with, while allowing Mook some peace and quiet.

Growing up fast.
I've had an awful day today but seeing the sweet innocence of Tera's babies brought a smile to my face. Thank you for continuing to share this journey with us. I continue to look forward to these updates.

I've been away for a few days, and I can't believe how chubby the wee ones got. I can't get Meatballs out of my head either, like @Mamanyt1953 - wow, they are all so sweet.
Tera reminds me of a thin Chestnut. LOL Chestnut my sweet gal, has a peach triangle over her left eye too. So sweet. Once again, I say, great job. The dedication & love you've shown is surely paying off.
Look forward to the updates. I'll have to check out the new videos.

Frog and Toad stuck. They are growing so fast and getting so round. I guess that's good right now. Tera was introduced to da bird. Oh my. Let the babies out of the playpen for extra exercise and muscle stretching and to encourage movement and motor skills. Then I gave Tera a can of her favorite FF and tucked them in until about 5AM. Mook is evil eyeing me because she heard the playing. I told her that I was so sick of Tera I was going to go dump her in a trash can Sunday and that seemed to make her feel better. Mercy just wants the meatballs.

Thank You. Opening the crate now is like confronting a three headed dragon. Tera is no longer just a nursing machine and the babies are eager to explore. They seem ahead of the online timelines I've found. I mean they are moving and looking at things. wrestling with each other. One followed my finger and tipped over that was good for a laugh. This is my husbands day off so he is in charge of Tera and babies and I have more time for Mook and Mercy. I swear Tera is putting on weight. As much as I will miss Tera I will also be relieved to have all the gates gone and not worry constantly about a slip up and having to detach two warring torties. The babies waddled over to watch mom eat today and got their feet dirty. I have a microwave heating pad coming in the next few days. It seems like it might be easier to control the temp for the babies than even the pet safe ones. I am stocked on little blankies, bag of cloth diapers, baby wipes, kitten nutrical KMR, Canned and powder, nursery water, bottles, syringes, extra nipples, extra bottles. I have to get a scale. I don't know why because we did it without one with Kitten and Mook. I just feel like I need a scale.
