Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo, I was hoping for a change. But, I'm sure Tera will find a peaceful loving home, where she will be the center of the Universe.

We ended the cycle of breeding of one cat and her kittens. The two boys have a home here and we spend time with Tera everyday trying some type of enrichment she might enjoy. There is also the risk of misdirected aggression to us or Mercy if we push this. It's a good rescue. We're not dumping her at a shelter. I'm picky and if things would work I'd be tickled to have a cat like her in my home. Someone is going to fall in love with her. I have to believe that.
I agree, I think someone is going to see those golden eyes and just fall in love with Tera. I think Tera will adjust to being the princess. I think you mentioned before that you think she may have been a pet, and after following her progress, I think she'll fit right in. I hope she gets a peaceful home with adults, where she's the main attraction, she deserves it.
I have no doubt you're doing the right thing for all kitties involved. It's pretty great how the two little ones are going to be able to stay together. I think that's more than most of us thought would happen. It's great that you and your hubby are able to keep them. I wish you all the best with these two. AND, I look forward to following their story. xoxo

I have no idea how she is with children or other cats or dog. She's in that bedroom in isolation not just to prevent something passing to my cats , which is unlikely but also to keep anything spreading to her and the babies. We have a strict hand sanitizer policy before handling the babies. Things are sanitized daily. Monday the 19th is 3 weeks we're going to start offering them some KMR in a bowl and or a bottle. They were snurffing around mom's food bowl this morning but she tossed them out. I have plenty of KMR, bottles, nipples and two containers of KMR second stage.
You are doing a great job, that little family was so lucky to have found you.

I finally got to follow the whole thing-you are a wonderful kitty mom Kitten's Mom! those meatballs are too adorable. Frog and Toad. Love love love it!

I'll try and get some more later and pictures. Mom was intense this afternoon so we're on shut down quiet time for a while. And really the babies are only active for minutes at a time right now. As much fun as pics and video are we try hard not to interfere with their bond. It's nice today so we can have a window open for mom.

I got them up around 5 this morning and put the babies in the big plastic tote. Tera just accepts whatever I put her babies in as a nest. She is such a good girl. You know for such little things they are remarkably strong. Toad caught sight of my finger when it got really close to his face. Ears are continuing to unfold the jury is out on if they can detect any sound yet.
how are the meatballs doing this morning?
We were holding the babies and Tera joined us in bed. She curled up next to us and nursed the babies and we all just spent time making a memory.

Breaking News! We got Tera to play. I have offered toys and left an assortment but today she just got silly and batted a ball. I grabbed a wand toy and we played for a half hour. She rolled and flipped and her eyes sparkled.
what a wonderful update. Tara sounds like such a sweet girl. She must feel very safe and comfortable to play

@Donutte dubbed Tera a Tortanese (Tortie Siamese cross). Now that she plays she has simply become more valuable. A fine rare specimen of a cat. She just got all happy in her pants.
