Well, thank you to both of you, @Kittens Mom and @margd (huh,,,it would only take the first name to alert!  How odd...) for getting these shots to us!  They are beyond precious.

So excuse the picture here. This was a test. It appears that some settings make a picture too large to post here . No cat was available for this picture although Mook appeared right now to step all over the keyboard and play sniffy mommy fingers.

Just wonderful videos and pix!  We used to hang a sootbox outside where we lived before, and of course there was an avid audience
Some of them are beyond messy. These are peanut treat suet no melt all weather. I get very little mess from them and the birds love them.  The 10lb bag of bird seed I was buying 5 years ago jumped from 2.99 to 5.99 and is now 10.99 and it's mostly milo. It's the best cat toy ever.

It seems like yesterday that they were those tiny little meatballs!  They are getting positively elegant looking, although I imagine that they raise their share of cain, and being kittens, that is perfectly how it should be!

When I pick up the treat jar they run to their cage and wait. Treats then bed. Gone are the days I could hold them in one hand , then on one arm. Lockdown is from around 11 to 5 or 6 am. They are funny and silly and run from one end of the house to the other sometimes over a dozen times. Mercy or Mook will shut them down if it gets beyond their endurance. It's not uncommon to see Mercy have one of them on their back with a good throat hold or for Mook to cuff one of them a good one when the come to the breakfast bar for treats. They don't bite or scratch and are so loving. It's like winning the kitten lottery. We get chin kisses and face pats and purrs and snuggles. Frog is a blinker backer. Toad has the song of the Siamese in her DNA.

LOL...I'm SO glad it got there in time for New Years, at any rate.  I sent it to the wrong address around Dec 8, and got it back on the 24th!  Oh, and check your aol email, I sent a couple of Jacquie Lawson cards there.  I LOVE her site, enough that I saved the money (not a lot, but you know how that is) to subscribe to the site for my "special" cards!

If there''s a mouse on that card, that would be her style.

They are ENORMOUS!  And getting purely lanky!  Little gals getting to be teenagers, God help you, Mook AND Mercy!

I think that  you are right!  Looks like a pink mouse to me!

Tomorrow the Christmas stuff all comes down, including my Christmas kitchen towels and potholders, and my beautiful Blue Willow gets very prominently displayed!

I need to find the potholders for you. I thought I ordered the set but the receipt says not.

They are getting huge Mercy my delicate little flower bowls the right over for a good throat latching. They are healthy, eat well and use the litter box. Use the scratchers so really all the rest is just part of baby kitty stuff going on.

Well that was interesting. I was looking out the front door and there perched in plain view was an obvious tom cat who looked exactly like Frog. He is huge. As in the 12-14 lbs at least huge. And obviously very well fed.  No booty calls for him here.

Good for Mercy!  Having dealt with two human teenagers, and Hekitty, come to think of it, and remembering all of it all to well...I'll pray for ALL of the adults in the  house!  Although they are SO funny along with the shenanigans that you can help but laugh as you sweep up that figurine!

Baby Daddy, perhaps?  But, no, no booty calls!   It's funny, but when I was coming up, NOBODY neutered male animals, or it was very rare.  LOTS of owners of females of all species hauled their girls off for very expensive, invasive surgery, but the males were left intact.  Dunno why it never occurred to them that one neutered male would protect any number of females, although I think it has something to do with the fact that the owners of the males could just walk away from it without a thought.  Our female dog, Kimberly Anne, was spayed, but Gray, our tom cat was NOT.  That was the norm in the late 50's and early 60's.
