This is a very strange photo.  Is Frog bent in half?  Is Toad looking on?
Oh I just bent him in half :) I was trying to get a good picture of his behind since there still seems to be a question on their sex. The good news today is my babies came back negative for worms 4 weeks ago and again yesterday and they had no reaction to the vaccination this time. And right now Mook is laying on the floor with them. They keep going over and giving her nose kisses.

She was totally flustered. She is a cat expert , very well respected. Maybe I'll take some backside shots and post them.
And welcome, Ladies and Gentlemen, to one of the only places on earth where otherwise rational adult humans sit rapt with baited breath waiting for photos of kittens' nether parts.  GOD I LOVE THIS SITE!

You know the day we put their sex on the records we were very careful to make sure who was who. I had spotty and stripey. I think Toad may be a boy. To be fair they looked exactly alike at the 6 week check. And you have to use great care trying to expose the penis in male kitten. Dr Nolan may also be overly cautions because she's someone who doesn't like to be wrong. I found these on a university web site. They are the clearest pictures I've found.

I vaguely remember having once read something about "when things are close together" vs. "when things are farther apart".  I guess these would be those. Can't remember which is which, though.  Just hope that no cat perverts find their way here.

Of the what seems like 100s of cat parts I looked at pictures and drawings these two are the clearest in what you look for. And I can testify that we are all two googles away from porn...

Yep...I'm also thinking Toad and Froggette.

And speaking of odder names for kittens, my neighbor from the north just got a new pointed kitten, and has named him Pierogie, because of his coloring, and is calling him "Roge," pronounced "Rogue."  I foresee much mayhem surrounding this kitten.  One does not lightly call a kitten "Rogue."

I think that in the hustle of having two active kitties in the exam room the wrong sex was assigned to the wrong kit. As I've said it doesn't matter to me personally it's either getting whacked off or scooped out. We had discussed that getting another kit for Mercy might be a good idea and the plan was a tortie of course. This is what the fates decided we should have. I'll get up a picture of Toad when I have a chance.

Tera still doesn't have a home but she appears to have been moved to the main cattery now where there is a more social setting and an outdoor catio for them. I feel awful sometimes but I know without our intervention these kits rampaging my desk at the moment and Tera herself would not be alive and have a chance. Tera isn't cold and hungry and in constant danger. To the person who raised her and taught her to love and trust humans and then abandoned her when she grew up and went into heat I'd like to shove my pointiest cowboy boot straight up your backend.
I think of you often Tera

I'd say Frog is definitely a little lady! [emoji]128516[/emoji] Seems maybe you've already cleared this up, but I figured I'd give an opinion as well.

I think of Tera often as well. I think of her every time I see the sweet faces of her babies. I give thanks that Tera is safe. She just has to wait a little longer for her happy ending, which I am confident will come! In the meantime, our girl is safe and will never again has to face the burden of struggling to survive or the burden of another litter. I am happy for that. It is far from ideal but Tera is a survivor and a fighter. She will soon find the joy of the home she deserves

Have you ever been to websites like love meow.com or iheartcats.com or catster.com? I regularly see pieces on stories such as Tera's, which involve the rescue of mamas and their babies. I then see those stories picked up on the Facebook pages of cat advocates like Cole and Marmalade and Shorty and Kodi where the social media exposure is crazy! I'm wondering if you contacted them and told them the story of Tera and the babies, they might run her story on their websites? Tera's story has captured us all and I don't see why it wouldn't do the same to an even larger audience of cat lovers. People need to know more about Tera in order to want to run to adopt her. She is a loving, sweet darling girl but you wouldn't know that unless one knew the Tera you know. Watermelon Ranch understandably does not have the time or resources for such marketing for its cats.  A story about Tera on any of these sites would be more exposure for Watermelon Ranch as well.

Sweetie, Tera has more of a "Happily Ever After" right now than she ever dreamed of, once she was no longer someone's pet.  She has attention on a regular basis, a warm bed, good food, a CATIO, and will never have to worry about trying to find somewhere, someplace, safe to bring a litter of kittens into a hostile world.  YOU did that, and helped her remember that human hands are kind and loving.  You gave her everything.  And now you have given her her best chance at a good life.  AND SHE HAS THAT RIGHT NOW...not the IDEAL life, but a good life.  And I believe that "ideal" is coming for her.
