I feed 3x a day and this morning during 2nd feeding she was doing this.   Once she stopped she ate fine.    I am nervous about bringing germs into my own cats though.

I already tried trapping her months ago due to another issue so its not an option to get her to a vet.

I have fish mox... would this be appropriate or hurt her if she didnt need it???

If so... do I wait to see if she improves or just try it?

thanks!!!!

fish mox won't help if it is viral, and will destroy important gut bacteria needed for immune response, so best use that as a last resort.

What you could try is: lactoferrin and/ or colostrum, mixed in food (will help against both bacterial or viral infections).

L-Lysine (getting powdered form, cheapest version, or pills that you open), mixed in food, will help against viral infections.

I'd do all of these at once since there won't be any side effects.

Diligent hand washing should stop your own cats from getting anything.

Thank you for helping her!
