My cat doesn't want to eat, he is sneezing, has snot, coughing, hiding, and is very fatigued!

HELP PLEASE HELP!!! Anyone!!

We think it could be allergies, or coughing up a hairball, or a cold! What should I do

Please, if anyone's cat has suffered this before then help please!!!

You cat needs to see a Vet.. He probably needs an antibiotic to get through this...

Most likely it's a common upper respiratory infection (URI).  These can be deadly in cats with compromised immune systems, but in normal, otherwise healthy indoor cats they usually run their course in 10 days or so - just like our human head colds.  Like our head colds they may feel absolutely miserable and want to hide.  That's ok.  Rest, plenty of fluids and food is the best medicine.  Try tuna fish, or baby food - just the meat variety, though. Nothing more added.  Be sure and offer a warm cozy, draft free place for him to snuggle up like a cozy fleece throw under a bed.  Offer fresh water nearby.  You can also add L-lysine to his diet to help boost his immune system.  A vet may put him on antibiotics if it is very bad.  You should certainly see a vet.  We don't want this to get out of hand and turn into pneumonia.  Hope he feels better soon.

There could be several reasons for him not eating - if he just has a cold, then he might not eat because he can't smell his food, and cats need to do that to find it appetising. If his system is blocked for whatever reason, then he won'[t eat because it makes him uncomfortable and he already feels full. It might even hurt him to eat. But if cats don't eat for longer than 24 hours their livers react and start destroying themselves, and this can turn quite quickly into a fatal disease called hepatic lipidosis. He is also at risk of becom9ing very dehydrated. Try to get fluids into him using a needleless syringe that you can get from a pharmacy (10cc size is fine) and squeeze water or chicken broth into the side of his mouth, taking care not to choke him.

But from all you are saying, this cat needs a vet, and as soon as possible. His symptoms are getting worse and he must have a full examination. WE cannot help from a distance.
