i have a male cat (neutered) who is healthy, he's 9 months old and weighs 12 pounds. it seems like he has sort of a nervous tick so to speak. he chews on the inside of his jaw. (similar to how some people chew on their lower lip). has anyone ever heard of anything like this?

Hmmmmm....

I've never heard of this. Perhaps some of our members have had a cat who does this. I can't wait to hear what others have to say.

I've never heard of this! Does he chew it raw? I know that I have the nervous habit of chewing on the inside of my lip sometimes. I work hard to "break the habit" whenever it creeps up. Have you had him to a vet yet? Any potential nervous problem? I'm really curious about this!
