From the ASPCA:

YOUR HELP IS NEEDED TO STOP THE KILLING!
CALL YOU STATE SENATOR TODAY AND ASK HIM OR HER TO COSPONSOR IL SB 2612!

SB 2612 would establish a dog and cat overpopulation fund to help reduce euthanasia of puppies, kittens, cats and dogs at our shelters. Reducing the number of homeless cats and dogs that come into a shelter saves taxpayers money. In New Hampshire, a similar program saves taxpayers $3.15 for every $1 spent on the program. This bill would also save lives. To date, NO REPUBLICANS have signed on to cosponsor this important bill. Saving animal lives and taxpayer dollars should be a bipartisan issue.

You are receiving this alert because your senator is a republican. Please call him or her TODAY and ask him or her to cosponsor SB 2612 with Senator Don Harmon to help stop the killing of our pets.

Click here if you need your state senatorâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s phone number.

Remember Politics is not a spectator sport. The animals are counting on you. Please spread the word.

Sincerely,

Ledy VanKavage, Esq.
Sr. Director, Legislative Services
