Im transitioning off of veterinary wet and dry food to all-meat wet food only for my 2 cats. One has always eaten the vet fibre food because she gets constipated. Currently she hasn't pooped in a couple days since I started the wet food only diet. My other cat has had interstitial cystitis so was on vet urinary food, but also has what we think is irritable bowel and was vomiting frequently; this is part of the reason I'm switching off of dry food. Anyways I wanted the next best thing to raw fed..... I did some research and found Weruva. Long story short they don't like any of it (I think it's the chicken shreds they don't like). Weruva has a sub brand called BFF, which I don't love because it's a tuna combo one... Anyway they will ONLY eat the BFF chicken and tuna mix.... Help! I don't want them eating tuna good because it's too rich; my boy is having some gas and yucky stools (although only a little vomit once) since the switch. My girl hasn't had a stool in 2 days now.... She's getting lots of moisture from this wet food (it's a very runny one and they've been drinking the juices from the Weruva too), but I don't want them on it permanently.

Are there Petco stores in Canada? Weruva makes Soulistic which is sold at Petco stores. Soulistic is very similar to Weruva and costs a bit less.

Tiki Cat is another similar brand.

Do your cats like food with texture and / or gravy? Pride by Instinct is one you could try.

My cats love Merrick and whole earth farms (same company) Merrick has rabbit pate they love and whole earth farms (cheaper) has beef and duck they love. They also like Soulistic (sold only at Petco or Fosters and Smith)in store or on line. Their chicken dinner in gelee or good karma chicken shreds. They also like tiki cat gourmet carnivore as a treat) I sprinkle Purebites freeze dried chicken on top. I buy dog size bag online.

You're just going to have to try different stuff to see what they'll eat. Out of tons of pet store brands, health food pet stores & raw food, my cats eat like 3 brands. They like the shredded chicken so anything with shreds is good. I actually am switching from Nature's Variety Instinct to Weruva. I make decisions about my food based off carb content so even though a food might have good ingredients, if the carbs are too high, I won't consider it.

If they like more of a pate, try the ziwipeak. Wild Calling has decent food if your cats will eat it, I had to donate my cans to a shelter!

Did you ever happen to try Savage Cat raw food, which is local in SD? I was eyeing their raw food for awhile but it's not really lucrative for me to order since I'm in AZ.

No I've never even heard of that company, I will check it out though thanks!

My cats will barely eat rad cat, I have to mix like 3 varieties together to even get them to lick it

I've been reading the blogs linked above and picked up several more cans today! Did get some wild calling, some GO grain free, natures variety instinct wet (and the dry too just in case they aren't eating and I need to supplement). I should start keeping a food journal. The raw foods available to me are natures variety instinct and Stella and chewys dehydrated raw as far as I know. There's no petco here, only petsmart and also a smaller chain called Global and Pet Valu, which is where I've been going. I've been looking at no grain and no carageenan (spelling?) after reading the blog linked above. Weruva makes a straight pumpkin wet additive I'm mixing into their wet food to try and stimulate the constipated girl. In other news my IBS boy had a solid bowel movement and no puking so far!

It does look very similar to RC, but maybe worth a try? They do have rabbit which is nice. I don't know anyone that's tried it but the company seems pretty good and the food looks good! I'd def try it out if it was local to me.
