Like Friday morning I had to take Little Figgy to the vet to be spayed. She knew something was up. She hid. Took 20 minutes and her favorite game to coax her out.

How do they know ?

I have no idea how they can tell things. My Sweet Pea can tell when I had a gallbladder attack or is hurting. She gets really clingy and she will talk to me and in her eyes you can see the worry. It's so weird that she can be more compassionate than most humans.

My wife had a migraine one evening and was just laying in the floor resting.  My girl, Lizzy, climbed up on her back and put her head right against where the migraine was and started purring.  Amazing.

I hope your wife is feeling better. I get migraines too. My cats all get on the bed with me. Starbuck my oldest will lay on my pillow next to my head puring. It's like she knows automatically that her purring will help me to fall asleep. One of my other cats named Sonny hates being covered up but will climb in bed and lay next to me. Casey and Apollo my two youngest will come and sleep on top of the bed near me.
