There is a chance I may have a problem in the future and would like to nip it in the bud.
I have two 1 year old female cats. Two weeks ago I got a male kitten, now 10 weeks old. They are mixing well, all the hissing and spitting is over. They all have the run of the house, eat, sleep and play together.
In the last couple of days, the kitten is trying to be boss. He muscles his way into their food dish, takes whatever toys they are playing with, runs up to their faces as if trying to be intimidating. As both the girls are gentle natured they back off every time. I now pick him up and put him on a different room but I realise that the girls should be teaching him his correct behaviour and I doubt they will.
I don't want this to escalate and become a problem. Has anyone any advice please.
