Well we did it. Baby and I actually went outside in the grass/stones. I carried her downstairs. She did great! We actually met a 9 month old kitty named Sophia and her mom/biped, Nikki. When Baby first saw Nikki and her husband outside she growled really deep. She sounded like a dog. Then when Nikki brought Sophia out and we were talking,(we were both holding the kitties) Baby did well. Nikki said she never thought about using a leash and I told her I was doing it so I can eventually take Baby for walks. I think Nikki is going to try it too. She seemed interested anyway.
For those who dont know, Baby and I had started on Monday with her wearing her collar 24/7, when she seemed interested in going out on the balcony,and actually stretching up to me to be picked up so I put her leash on her and carried her out there. She was scared/timid at first. Now for the past two days, she's been asking to go out with her leash on and I don't have to carry her out. So I decided to actually take her outside (downstairs) this morning instead of waiting until Monday, and she did fantastic! She's such a good baby. Of course I heap praise on her and give her belly and head rubs, which she loves when we come in. Now my Baby and I can practice, practice, practice! [emoji]128570[/emoji]
