First of all I want to apologize for typing mistakes but English it not my language.

My cat yesterday gave birth to 7 kittens.  1 still born and 6 hopefully healthy kittens.

Now in the middle of the night I realize that 2 kittens are struggling.  They won't eat and get separated from the others.

Also the mother cat is now turning away.

I tried to bottle feed them special kitten milk but they don't drink it.

Can I do something more.  I can only go to the vet in the morning.

Can someone help me.

Do you have a dropper or a needleless syringe?  Kittens with a mom often won't take a bottle.

Agree, they will need to be fed 1 mL every hour. Keeping them warm is very important. They are fed tummy down, head up, drop by drop in the side of the mouth.

Moms sometimes will separate and not care for kittens they sense may not survive.

Keep us posted on their progress.

I have a syringe.  Do I just drip the milk in their mouths then?

should I take them away from the others?

This is because the others seem warm enough.

I just posted this for you about how to feed. Are the kittens taking the milk?

Just read your thread. I hope the kittens make it. I know you are doing all you can.

How are the other kittens doing? Is mom feeding them and caring for them?

@basschick

Tine said in the very first post that kitten milk is being used.
thanks for clarifying - i haven't been sleeping much lately while HK has had issues and needs me.  i actually read the OP over, but tiredness overwhelms brain power.

The kittens didn't make it till the morning :-/

I feel like I made them suffer longer but I could not just let them slip.

The other 4 are drinking a lot. They did lose a little weight but I think that's normal.

I have the feeling that mom is much more relaxed now.

So sorry to hear this. Are you weighing them every day? Losing weight is not normal.

I'm weighing them all the time.
But I'm at the vet now just to be sure everything is ok with mom and the remaining kittens.
