About three weeks ago, my wife noticed our cat's chin looked a bit swollen. I didn't think too much of it at first as she wasn't acting differently, but it was somewhat noticeable and we thought maybe she banged her chin as she is quite a jumper. Fast forward a week and we take her to the vet where she is prescribed presnidone and told to keep an eye on her.  Only for a day or two did immediately following did she seem lazy and a bit out of her element and  she was having a bit of difficulty eating (i.e. was pulling food out of bowl to the floor and then eating it). For the most part she has seemed to get better each day. My wife took her to the vet again a week later and they did xrays where the vet said it could be cancer and now we are thinking of going for a second option.

She has continued to improve since those two days almost two weeks ago, has a strong appetite, is using the bathroom regularly, active jumping around, going outside, etc. and the only visible difference is she sometimes has a drool after eating and isn't cleaning herself 100% as well as she used to (but is cleaning herself). She is eating strong, but is still having a bit of difficulty. I have noticed every once in a while, while eating, it's almost like she hits a nerve or gets a quick bit of pain and brings her paw to her mouth. Looking in her mouth, there is some redness under her tongue, but don't see any blood in the gums or teeth areas. I've attached a picture of her (her chin isn't as bad as it once was, but still appears larger than normal) and didn't know if anyone had experience with something similar, can see something I can't or can offer any advice. We are taking her for a second opinion tomorrow.

I'm sorry I don't have experience with this, but I hope she gets better.  She is beautiful. Sending prayers and hugs to your little baby

Thank you! We are praying and staying positive! She is still going along as her typical self.
