Do you prefer baths or showers ?

I love baths and took them all the time when I was a kid. Now I'm a shower person. If I had a jacuzzi tub, I'd do more baths

Showers most of the time, though every now and then I'll relax in a soothing bath on the weekend.

I like to have a bath occasionally but with two young kids, it doesn't last long. I prefer showers because it's quicker...and I always take a quick shower after a bath to get the soap off and wash my hair.

...with the cats...
shower. i can just imagine what my cats would be doing if i were soaking in the tub! punky would be on the edge of the tub playing with the water, deedee would be trying to find a way to get onto my chest to snuggle...without getting wet, and our jaspurr...he'd be looking at me like he thought i'd lost my mind! and i'm sure at least a few cat toys would be deposited into the bath water by the cats too!

Showers only

When Banshee was alive, she would sit on the edge of the bathtub and peek in around the edge of the shower curtain to watch me. She was used to water; when she was a kitten, I'd hold her when I was in the shower....I'd never let the flow of water get to her, but she seemed to enjoy being in the shower with me. She'd get only a little wet as I was very careful with her.

These days, it's Muffin who sits on the toilet and yells at me when I'm in the shower. I never come into the bathroom by myself!

I take showers for cleanliness and baths for relaxation.
Although it's been awhile since I could take a bath due to my 2 surgeries since March.

Shower.

I can't think of anything more boring than laying in a tub of water.
I can't imagine trying to read a good book and sip a glass of iced tea or wine in a shower...I do shower when I have to wash my hair, which is almost hip-length, and can't be managed in a bath.

Definitely showers

But if I ever did own a nice tub again, I wouldn't mind dabbling for the sake of relaxation. But I would want what my grandmother has - separate shower and tub. She has a lovely modern standing shower in one bathroom and a really pretty yet roomy tub in the other. I know I'm probably being overly squeemish and really weird, but I don't like the idea of soaking in water in the same place where I also stand and wash myself, if that makes sense. I find it kind of icky. Worse if you share said utilities with someone like a spouse or a family member!

Showers.  I'd love a bath now and then; but I either need a bigger tub or a smaller body.  Maybe both.
It might be the idea of locking myself away for some quiet time that appeals the most.

Showers. I can't stand baths, either. Mingo often sits on the toilet and paws at the glass shower door. I paw back and he loves it.

I enjoy a nice bath. Don't do it very often though. I have to shower off after a bath because the water always leaves soap residue on me. . .ick. For actually getting clean, definitely a shower. Baths take too long.
