I took in two pregnant cats last week who needed a new home. They are both sisters and are obviously both pregnant. The owner had no idea how far along they were or when they would be do. They came from a farm setting where they lived indoors and outdoors but seem to have spent the last few months fending for themselves outside on the farm. They are in a stall in my barn while I treat them for their fleas. I can see the babies moving in both moms. I was worried about keeping both moms together but read in another article it will prob work out so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I'll post a few pics of them, any idea how far along they might be??

It's difficult to say, but clearly they are closer to the end. Once you see/feel kitten movement they usually have 2-3 weeks left.

You can use Advantage II on each of their necks for fleas. It is best to get rid of fleas now, as they can cause anemia in kittens. The cats will need worming too.

Are you planning to bring them inside your home soon? Are the cats being fed kitten chow and wet food?

Thanks for taking them in! [emoji]128522[/emoji]

If you can see the babies move, its at most 2 weeks left.  Their litters are probably not that big, as they arent balloons...  When they drop, you will know its very soon, day or two left.

What defleaser are you using currently?   Some OTC arent safe.  The Advantage II mentioned is safe.

As they are apparently best friends, its OK to keep them together. They will prob help each other caring for the litters.
