Right now I feed my kitten wet/dry combo. Wet food can be expensive (even the cheap cans) and we go thru it quickly. Sometimes I give him small pieces of meat or a tiny bit of ricotta or plain yogurt as a treat. I work at a health food store and I get a lot of free/discounted stuff because they're still safe to consume but not good to sell, so like bone meal powder, free range meat, eggs, powdered goat milk, coconut oil, etc. we even have a product by a company called standard process that's like a multivitamin for cats. Does anyone have any ideas how I can use these to make meals or treats for my cat? do they all have to be nutritionally complete if I already rotate frequently/give him commercial cat food as well? I'm kinda interested in some of the benefits of homemade food but it sounds complicated and I don't wanna gamble with his health.

For treats you can give a small chunk of meat, I give Cupcake little pieces of cooked chicken. If given for treats supplements is not nessasary
