hey

UPDATE:

today was her appointment ..we took her to a great

vet ,we told him about the problem then he kind of

squished her stomache then said that there is nothing

to worry about and its completley normal..I hoped he'll

explain a bit better but thats all he said..after that he gave alice

her second shot (she wasent very happy
) then we told

one of the workers to cut her nails...he was FAST!! Im such

a begginer at cutting nails..Im trying to learn..

anyways ..will Alice become sick in the following days??

or maybe have the flu??

Not eating or drinking is not normal nor healthy. Some cats do breathe harder than others though and it's not always cause for alarm. Please don't let the baby go for long without nourishment.

If she had asthma she would probably be coughing and sneezing - have you noticed anything like that?  Also, since you just went to the vet, you are perfectly within your rights to call with a follow-up question.  Can you take a video of your kitten when she is breathing so fast and send it to your vet?  If you are able to take a video, post it here as well.

I know you are very worried about your baby girl but it is important to relax.  Cats are masters at picking up on our emotions and she may pick up on your anxiety and become anxious herself.  Unfortunately it is all too easy to assume the worst when reading on the internet - we all do it.

Please let us know how she does.

thank you for replying that fast!!

...well yes I noticed that she sometimes makes weird sounds... almost

like sneezing but  a little quieter..

I will try to contact my vet  and send him a video (like you said)

although I dont think that he will help.. this may sound weird

but thats how I feel..as I said his clinic is very far away

and closer vets are not pros..because alice's vet is old and

has got many Certificates from universties and other stuff like that

shes sleeping right now on the floor in her favorite postion.. laying

straight on her stomache it looked very weird when I first got her

but now I m used to it..

but the main problem here is that maybe her breathing

and panting was there when she was still on sale..maybe

she was born with it and Inow noticed it

maybe its seriouse!!!!

...MAYBE Im just over reacting and I need to relax..

I am trying to anyways...

Ill try to upload a video of her breathing and panting

as soon as she does it again..

(my best wishes to my little babay girl...)

It sounds like you are not very happy with the vet situation where you are.  Are you saying that the nearby vets are not very good, but that the one you drove an hour to see was not that helpful either?  I would at least call the vet you saw and ask if an x-ray is called for, considering the rapid breathing and sneeze-like sounds.  This will identify if asthma is a problem.  Just a note:  if asthma is the issue, it can be treated.  Also, not all cases are severe.  My cat Milo had mild asthma and his symptoms were managed with occasional medication and did not affect his life span.

Yes thats what I mean..
I will try to call him.. but Im still
Trying to figure out the right time
To do that.. you know if I call and
Hes doing his work or doing checkups..
So Im not really sure when to.. there is
An email on the paoer he gave us
I think its better to write him one ...
Today Alice is meowing...like weird
Meows once in awhile.. Im trying to
Figure out whats wrong but then she
Goes to play.. the other thing that made
Me not conviced of the vet's knowledge
Is that I feel like Alice needs a playmate..
But I cant really bring her one..[emoji]128557[/emoji] its really
Sad to see her playing alone.. so I asked the
Vet what should I do and he said
"She likes playing just with you" and I was like
WHAT!!? every vet or any animal lover should
Know that any baby animals like to have a playmate! ..he was in a hurry he just give her
The nobivac rabies shot and squished on her
Stomache and told us when the next shot would
Be..and I told him that she was biting so he said
Its normal because the new teeth are coming
Out... he didnt even use the word "teething" I may sound a bit picky, but he didnt give us any
Information [emoji]128542[/emoji] but the problem is hes an old
Vet that gave assemblies in important places
And everyone says he is a very good vet ..
Another thing fo kittens get asthmas??
