Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone had any exterior knowledge on random eye color change. I have a 6 month old female ragdoll, I have had her since she was 7 weeks old. Up until recently, both of her eyes were a gorgeous vivid blue. I noticed last night and more this morning in day light that one of her eyes has turned a darker blue and it is noticeable relative to her other vivid light blue eye. I have an appointment schedule with the vet later in the evening today but while I'm waiting, I can't help but be worried. There is no pus, discharge of any other symptom indicative of infection, there's no photophobia (sensitivity to light) I did however notice she was blinking that eye a few times earlier today but only for a few seconds before she was normal and playing again. Both her eyes dilate in response to light though the reflective color is red in one eye and rather opaque in the other. Any ideas ? I have attached before and after photos in which the top photo is before the noticeable change in eye color and the bottom two photos are after the change.

I copied this from a site. I would take her to the vet just to be sure

Potential Complications in Adult Life.  Eye color changes after “kittenhood” could be cause for concern. Watch especially for sudden color changes over a short period of time. Changing color is commonly an indicator of an eye infection, but could also be a sign of a more serious condition. One common eye condition in cats is an eyeball inflammation known as uveitis, which can do permanent damage if left untreated. Symptoms include abnormally yellow, red or orange colored eyes. If recognized, these symptoms should be shown to your vet for proper treatment.
