Omega Paw Litterbox Problems – Advice Sought?

So I've been using the Omega Paw Roll 'N Clean large with my cats for a few months.  I really like it a lot, it makes cleaning a breeze and my cats used to use it great!!

The trouble is recently they seem to take a step in, and then aim their pee outside of the box onto the matt I have outside for paw-cleaning

This trend started a while back, and now has become their go-to way of relieving themselves.  Which is awful to deal with.

Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with this, while keeping the Omega Paw box?

Nobody seems to have any answers here.  I had a friend who had one of those boxes but she ended up getting the mechanical kind and liked it better.  Also, if your cat ever has diarrhea, that roll & clean box is not your friend.  You would be better off just scooping.   The only way I could think of that you could make them face out and pee inwards is perhaps to add a curtain to the door.  Sorry I couldnt be of more help.

I just saw this- sorry. I have an Omega Paw too and I hate it. I liked it at first but I noticed that when I rolled it, a lot of clean litter was being wasted. Now I just scoop it like any other litter box. It will be the next to be replaced.

I never noticed anything like what you mentioned though.
