Is she overweight?

My kitten seems overweight. She does not excercise a lot. I don't free feed her anymore because I am concerned that she is gaining too much. She gets a can of Friskies (5.5 oz) everyday. And she has dry food out to snack on. If she lays down she has a fold of fat.

I am pretty sure it is fat but am not 100% sure that it's not parasites.

A can of Friskies plus some dry food is not an excessive amount of food for a kitten, although it depends on how much dry food she actually eats.  She doesn't look fat to me but there are charts available on-line that you can compare her to for a better idea.  I tried to post one here but it's not working - try looking at some of the charts on this link:  https://www.google.com/search?q=cha...X&ved=0ahUKEwjs5ujLpdjOAhVDSCYKHdsiAbcQ7AkIKg   If it doesn't work, the search term was "charts for overweight cats."

As a kitten, she should be getting more exercise.  Do you play with her?  A good rousing game of Da Bird or another wand toy should really get the blood flowing.  She really shouldn't be that sedentary as a kitten.  How old is she, anyway?

That doesn't look like fat, just a fold of skin. She really does need to eat as much as she wants while she's growing. Has she been dewormed? Does she not play at all?

Looks like a fold of skin to me too, she doesn't look fat at all to me! Stand above her when she is standing and look down on her back. If she is overweight she will not have a 'waist' at all (right in front of her hips) and it will bulge out along her sides.  As young as she is she should be getting at least two cans of food a day along with her dry, unless she prefers dry. You might get her some sliced turkey breast to fill her up with fewer calories if you are worried. Be very careful, cats can get pregnant at 5-6 months, so watch out until you have her spayed or she may gain weight for a different reason! I wouldn't worry about her, she looks healthy and happy to me!

She's five months, and she's already spayed. I don't give her 2 cans because after she's full she'll only lick it before going away. Doesn't turkey breast have sugar and salt added.?

No, she isnt overweigh.  In most "breeds" a healthy cat shall have some meat.  Its just in breeds and types renown for being sleek they shall be visibly sleek.

And especielly a kitten are allowed to be rounded...

She is a true spotted tabby, not  the more common broken mackerel.  Wont win any grand prizes in the spotted class, but still - will be admitted to the others whom are spotted.
