I am feeding my kitten raw meat with TCFeline (plus 2 egg yolks a week). I know all cats are different but still would like to know what an average amount per day is appropriate for this age.

6 to 8 oz is typical. Feed more or less according to your kitten as every kitten is different.

So, she is 6 months old. A heaping 1/3 cup of food (bite size cubes or raw meat + TCFeline powder + water + egg yolks) is not too much for a meal? Two of these in 24 hours not too much?

Your kitten is still growing so let her eat as much as she wants
She'll eventually start to self regulated how much foods she will eat and how often. Are you just feeding twice a day? Some cats like to eat smaller amounts more often.

When my Aby was a kitten he ate 3 times a day, about 2 oz of food for each meal. Around 6 months old or so he starting to want less food but more meals
So he started getting fed 2 main meals (1 oz each) and two mini post dinner snacks.

I give her food twice a day, yes, but she doesn't finish the whole thing, she comes back a couple of times. Like now, she ate probably 2/3 of the portion and left but she'll be back later to finish, i know. It's cool in the kitchen, so her food can stay out for a few hours i guess, I was told they know when it's bad and don't eat it.

@mpea, the Primal site has a feeding calculator you can use (scroll down...it's lower on the page). I don't use Primal Food but I appreciated finding out how much I should feed. I have two 8.5 month old kittens and I think they are beginning to slow down on quantity a bit, although I still feed them three meals a day because they won't finish a larger meal and do better with smaller ones.
