My boys are scared of strangers, and hide when someone comes over. They often find new and interesting places to hide. But this one really made me laugh! Pierre is a camouflage cat!

Your boys are not alone. My boy January is also afraid of strangers.
There was one day while I was carrying him just outside my house, he saw someone and he sprang from my arms and flew into the house :lol3:
I don't know if he is still suffering from post trauma. He was ditched and left in a drain with an injury and I don't know if it was done by a human. He cling onto me whenever he's outside my house and worse if he sees a stranger.

Yes, Pierre was found as a stray, and may well have had a terrible experience with strangers. Fortunately it didn't stop him from being a loving, affectionate boy once he knows he can trust someone.
Good thing both Pierre and January got to trust in us. Better love and enjoy our kitty.

I love that picture of your sweet Pierre! Simply adorable. My two kitties both hide when anyone comes to the house. They like quiet, when it is just their family. Mittens is especially scared. He also hates when we go out, especially me. I try to go out when he is sleeping. I feel so bad if he starts crying at the door. It is like he is saying "please don't leave me". He acts like I won't come back. Who knows what our poor kitties have gone through before they came to us.
Pierre looks so cute in that picture.
It is like he is laughing,"you can't find me".
