My cat sitter mentioned to me that there are some long term ill effects of use of pepcid/famotadine. Does anyone know about this? should I stop or cut back giving this?

I think your best bet is to ask your Vet about any long term side effect of it, because it really depends on what medical conditions currently exist as to what they might be. For instance, I can give you some reading on them for Kidney Cats, but that wouldn't apply here.

Yes, I will ask her when I see her Tuesday. In the meantime, I have reduced his dose. He is on anti nausea meds...
