HELP. My cat vanished!!!!

My cat has been missing for 3 days now. He's an indoor only cat. I don't remember seeing him run past me the day he went missing. He is in good health, only 5 years old. He's SUPER lazy. Lays around all day. He has his usual spots to hang out, but he is alwats in one of those. I cant find him anywhere. Ive tried wet food, calling for him, both inside and outside.
Ive put up posters, checked bushes around my apartment and I have searched EVERYWHERE inside my apartment. In chairs, under the bed, under upholstered furniture, washer, dryer, every cabinet.Ive looks for any hold he could get through and cat find a thing. Every closet has been searched and his food and litter box hasn't been touched. ANY IDEAS???? Thanks. I'm worried sick.

PS, Ive checked the local shelter, hung up flyers and posted on craigslist and facebook also.

I am so sorry to hear this.  This is my worst fear.

Have you called all local vets?  Since he was indoor, I'm guessing there was no collar?

Perhaps behind a grocery store, hiding in boxes that are out in the neighborhood?  Are you in a city or small town?

I hope your little one comes back to you soon.

He has a collar and tags. We live in an apartment complex in OKC. Ill call around to vets in the area. thanks!!

Most of the vets in my area are closed today I've double checked their facebook pages to make sure he wasnt taken in a day or two ago.

I know my boy would have most likely hid in a box or something like that, and my girl I feel would be eating all the food left our for feral's.

I so feel for you.  I'll be thinking about you and your boy.  What's his name.

Thank you! His name is Cheese. It's just so strange, because I swear I never saw him go passed me. He's a chubby black cat. I'm pretty sure I would notice :/

I would keep combing the area.  Are there emergency animal hospitals that you can call just in case someone took him in for any reason?

Since the vets aren't open, can you at least post your flyers under their doors so when they open they'll have the info.

Also, call all shelters, no kill and kill.  Is there a Humane Society you can call in the area, perhaps they may have tips for you as to where cat's may wonder in your area.

I personally feel helpless.  I'm sorry.

I'll see if there are any 24 hour vets around. And I went by the humane society yesterday and keep checking their page of new intakes. I left my info at the shelter. If he doesnt show up by Monday, Ill call all the vets as soon as they open.
We will keep looking. I won't give up.
