Good morning, Happy Saturday.

Do you wear make-up? What do you wear most days?

I used to wear a lot of make-up in my younger "Gothic" days, and then again when I was trying to hold down a "proper" job in a big city (Who was I trying to kid? That wasn't me at all
)

These days if I'm staying at home I usually just use moisturizer, sun block and lip balm. If I have to go out I use a bit of loose powder to get rid of the shine from the sun block and mascara. I never wear lipstick. Somehow it makes me look like a drag queen.

How about you?

I gave up wearing makeup years ago. I used to enjoy it up until around my 40's but allergies but an end to it for the most part. Even makeup that was touted as being allergy free made my eyes runny.

Now in my late 50's I can't even see to apply it. Not like you can wear your glasses doing it and even a magnifying mirror isn't much use.

The only time I wear it now is if I have an event to go to and it's minimal at that; foundation, mascara, maybe lipstick.  Eye shadow is out completely since I can't see what I'm doing.

FYI - most of the women in my office don't wear it either, or very little. It seems to be a trend over the past years at least around NYC. I don't see many made up women on the subway either so it appears to be across the board no matter what you do for a living, or not.

Nope. The last time I wore a full face of make up was when I was like 3 years old and it was because a much older cousin thought it would be funny to put make up on me. I absolutely hated the way I looked with bright red lipstick and raccoon eyes.

I don't every day... like if we go out to dinner or to a special occasion I'll wear lipstick. Eye shadow burns my eyes.

no, i never wear make up. i don't think i ever even learned how to do make up -- just no interest in it.

i don't usually put on moisturizer either. if i find i need to during the winter, i use aquaphor -- absolutely the best for moisturizing and/or healing my skin.

I very rarely wear it anymore.  When I physically went to work I wore it to work everyday.  I didn't wear heavy makeup, just the basics.  I do a skin care regimen now that I am 60 which includes moisturizer.  When I was younger I didn't bother with it either.

I use translucent powder, blusher and mascara when I go to work or out and eye shadow when I'm in the mood. I don't bother with lipstick or gloss because it never stays on and I don't like the feel of it.

I use Mary Kay makeup. I wash my face in the mornings and at night with the cleanser. Then I apply either the day cream or the night cream,,,, then moisturizer. I use liquid foundation, a bit of eye shadow and a bit of eye brown powder. I might add a bit of blush. I hardly ever use mascara. I usually wear a bit of neutral color lipstick. In summer I might use some pink.

When I was younger I did wear make-up.. tried the usual OTC products.. Broke out in the eyelids from it. Went to dermatologist who said to try Clinique. I used that for years. My eyes did get a bit itchy occasionally from it, but no big deal. When I found out that I my lips were getting chapped from the lipstick, I decided to stop..

I switched over to Origins products. I love that line.  I could wear it all.. After a while, life got to me. I started wearing my glasses full time, had a very early morning arrival time at work, so make-up was out of the question. I only wore it for week ends or special occasions..

Now, I just go without. If I want to add something, I use a bit of powder and a touch of blush along with some lip gloss. I do not bother with my eyes anymore. It is really hard to get eyeliner and mascara on, when you have a hard time seeing!!! so I really do not bother..

Just use a moisturizer like Cetaphil on my skin...

Until I retired, I wore full-face makeup every day - foundation, powder, blusher, lipstick, eye shadow, mascara, and eyebrow pencil. These days, I wear nothing but moisturizer unless I'm going out. For social occasions, I do the full-face thing again, sans the eye makeup. With glasses on, who can see it? If I'm just running errands, I use foundation around my eyes and cheeks and lipstick. If no one sees me, why go to the trouble and expense of all that makeup?

I gave up on that years ago. I'm a bit lazy, so I prefer sleeping for 10 more minutes
I don't use any moisturizer or anything on my face, just my soap.

I never wear it at home.  My skin is oily and after enough hours in makeup; it's running into my eyes and that burns worse than just the oil.

When i go places I like eye shadow, eyeliner and mascara.  I feel like I don't look awake without something done to my eyes.  My top lip is pretty thin so lipstick really doesn't do anything for me.  I do use an oil-free moisturizer with spf daily; but no foundation/concealer/powder.  Between the oil and being acne prone; it's not worth it.  Unless we are getting pictures done or something.  But we haven't done that in a long time.
