I recently got a kitten (shadow) and he is no more than 2 1/2 months he is having some bathroom problems i dont know if its because he was rescued from the streets or something else entirely. I have him on kitten food and I know change in diet can cause some of it i have an appointment with the vet I just wanted to know if I should rush the appointment or wait for it.

What kind of bathroom problems? Has he been dewormed? Checked for parasites?

Shadow passed away I took him in to an emergency vet clinic I woke up the morning after and he was limping real bad when I took him in the vet looked and said that over the night he had given himself an intestinal hernia and had had wrapped around his bladder they said that there wasn't anything that they could do besides put him down with how little he was just wanted to update everybody and let them know what was going on

I am sorry you went through this.  Many kittens do not survive past the 3 month stage.  In the wild survival is like less than 50%.  Please don't beat yourself up - we do what we can for these babies.  A common cause is FIP which has a mortality rate of 100%.  I have fostered over 200 babies and have lost about 15% to various illnesses and diseases.  I understand your grief.

I'm so sorry to hear that Shadow did not make it. I'm saddened too. You did your best.

I'm sorry Shadow passed away. At least he knew what it meant to be cared for in his short life.
