I would say it depends on what kind of food you'll be putting in it.  If dry food, it should be fine.  If wet food, maybe not.  It's weird, but it really depends on the cat, too.  With wet food, I have one cat who licks his wet food rather that bites it, so he needs the lip of his bowl to be a certain way, otherwise a whole bunch of his food ends up on his placemat rather than in his tummy
.  I got him a different, ore elongated bowl and the food stays in better.

I am feeding them a variety (Mostly Raw, Little Wet Canned, Little Dry) but have an issue with feeding Raw Chunks.

The current plate that I am feeding is flat with vertical edges. They drive the chunks to vertical edges to flip and grab them these are 3-month-old kittens so they are sloppy eaters.

I feel like they a struggle a bit, I am was hoping this bowl may fix that.

When I was feeding raw, I used a saucer from my china set.  I wanted something pretty flat, with just the minimal edge....unless I was feeding them ground...then I used a berry bowl from my china set because I made my ground mix pretty wet and didn't want lots of the "juice" dripping on their placemats
.  Do you use placemats?  I started using them when I started feeding raw, and just kept it up when we went back to canned (long story
) At least it keeps the floors clean
.

I honestly don't know if that dish would work for your purposes or not.  I guess the only way you would know is to try it.

I am not using placemats I am using a big flat plastic box with low wall.

Feeding raw can get very sloppy but these guys are getting a lot better at staying in one place and not drag meat all over the floor.

Still working on both of them eating together without snarling at each other. Somedays they do some days they don't, I think it depends on their hunger level.

When they get better I will transfer them to placements.

Why did you have to switch to canned from raw? Maybe I can learn a few things from your story.

@Zoop

Use a broad elongated shallow lip bowl to feed your cat. This way, the bowl does not get into the way of their long whiskers which irritates them when they eat.
This is what I use for my boy. I', not asking you to get the same but just giving you the idea ;)

@Zoop, I quit feeding raw because first one cat decided she didn't like it anymore, and she had also recently developed kidney disease, so we needed to prepare her's differently and not feed her bone, but substitute something different for her calcium because bones have too much phosphorus for kidney cats.  Anyway, possibly because of the appetite issues with kidney cats, she decided after a few months with the kidney issues that she didn't like raw anymore.  So...she went to canned food.

THEN, my next picky cat decided HE didn't like raw anymore
.  I had a feeling it was coming because he is the type of cat who would only eat ONE variety at a time until he got tired of it, and then that was it.  Then he quit.   And he doesn't like very many proteins as it is, so....   I tried and tried and tried and TRIED to get him to eat frankenprey by adding in small chunks into his beloved (whatever he was eating at the time) food, but he wouldn't touch any of it, just eat around it
.    So here I was cutting up tons of a variety of meats for the third cat and packaging and freezing it in small servings for him, only to open a can for the other two.  Then he would want to check out what they were eating, naturally.  So I finally decided to just feed them all good high quality, very low carb canned food.

That's the story
At least we got a freezer out of the deal
I still call it THEIR freezer, even though now it's full of OUR food

Lol I am seeing the same trend slowly creeping up with my kittens. They used to be on a wet can (two times a day) and dry food (available to them all time).  Then I switched them to raw and fed them only that but they were not gaining weight quick enough compared to the average cat. Maybe it's their genetic and they will remain small cats so their weight gain might be normal but being afraid I thought that I should top them off after raw. So after they finish their raw meal I would either offer them some dry food or wet canned food to top their tummies off. Now I see a trend in which they are getting picky about eating raw and would prefer for me to feed them dry food. They also don't like canned food as much anymore.

I think this is their preference order currently Dry > Raw > Canned. I would actually prefer for them to eat all three kinds of food because I don't want to develop picky eaters but I think having all three options available to them is actually make their pickiness come out more as they tend to wait for the food of their choice.

Even in raw, I have to follow and order, make sure they are hungry give them the bone (chicken necks) then gizzards and then hearts followed by organs. If I keep all the food on the plate they will gorge on things they like (heart and organs) and will leave everything else.

Hoping all this is just a phase and will go away.

I LOVE the Durapet bowls. Mine are 5 years old and still going strong. Look them up. And, yeah that bowl looks fine for kibble. My cats don't like deep bowls. I usually use a saucer type of bowl for canned/raw.

* that was suppose to say many cats don't oike deep bowls. My cats don't care as long as there's food in it ha.
