How is it going now? Has the larger nest helped any? Its not uncommon momma lays on the kittens, and obviously usually they dont get hurt from it. but obviously enough, we dont want this to be so, and try to move on her.... We dont want to rely our hopes on usually, we prefer more safe situations.Hi my cat gave birth today to five kittens there was 7 but one sadly did not make it she keeps laying on them could she suffocate them ? I'm so worried after losing one already any advice would be appreciated
Good to hear the has solved itself. The question is, if the nest was a little too tight, OR if she felt unsecure there, and laying on them was sort of for protecting them... As she apparently feels safer and more comfortable under the sofa.Hi StefanZ she has moved them now to under the sofa I have quite a high sofa so they have plenty of room and Tiggs is such a fantastic mum thank you so much for your advice
