Hello everyone!

What was the very first thread you ever replied to on TCS?

It was a "Yes or No" game back in August, 2013

"Hahaha, Yes!

Do you watch the FIFA World Cup?"

Not too bad, was actually worried it would be something a tad more embarrassing!

(If you need assistance finding out, hover over on your username on the top right hand corner, click Threads I've Started, Click on Posts, scroll down to the bottom, and go to the very last page. There is also the All My Posts option to but doesn't go as far back where it hit the real beginning- at least for me.)

My first post was a thread I started because Mooch had the runs.  I found out I'd changed their food too fast from what the shelter had been feeding them.
I didn't remember the vomiting; but I haven't forgotten the brown streak Mooch left on DH's white shirt!
  Poor DH!

Hello...sorry for the gross question but I guess that this place is kinda for this stuff. I recently adopted 2 kittens from the local SPCA. They are sisters and 10 weeks old. One is completly healthy but a little shy. The other is friendly and just as spunky as her sister, but frequently has diarreah and has begun vomiting. They eat the same food and Noodles is fine, but poor Mooch is not happy when she is in the litter box! She seems fine the rest of the time. She is not lathargic to the least bit! Does anyone have any ideas what this may be from? I cannot contact a vet untill Monday. Also, does anyone have any recommendations for a different food? We are feeding them kitten chow and they gobble it up. I've heard of trying to feed them baby food with some rice mixed in or give them the milk supplement for orphaned kittens. Any suggestions or ideas would be most welcome!

Well, the first thread that I actually started is here:  http://www.thecatsite.com/t/208274/hello-and-good-morning It was an introductory post back in  November, 2009. Gosh, that's a long time ago! I can't imagine some of the "old-timers" and how long you've all been here!

We only had five RugCats back then as that was a few months after The Queen B (Banshee) passed away. I had lurked for quite a while. When Banshee died, my world stopped for months. My heart had broken at that point. But, well, you keep going. It's all you can do.

The first one I replied to was "Cats and Sinks"  in the pictures forum because I have a good one of Mingo in a sink.

Mine was for my introduction thread for Lilith and Sophie back in February 2014. I had found this site because I was looking to see how to best introduce them to Bailey the Border Collie. I had everything set up perfectly. All their things were in their safe room and I was going to do things "exactly right". HAHAHAHA!

No one told Lilith and Sophie that. About 2 hours after I brought them home, I went into their room to check on them. As I was leaving, Lily rushed past me out the door and into the hall. Guess who was standing there with a big, goofy grin on her face? Lily circled her, sniffed her and then basically wandered off to explore the house. While she was circling, I was trying to stay between them in case anything happened. I never thought for a second that Bailey would do anything as she definitely does not have an alpha or aggressive personality and she only gets territorial towards human males that she does not know.

When Lily wandered off (completely unimpressed by Bailey), I turned back to the door and who was coming out- of course- Sophie. She did the same thing Lily did. Checked out Bailey and then wandered off to follow her sister (equally unimpressed by 40 pound Bailey). Bailey, however was thrilled by them and was thoroughly entertained by their antics especially when they would get the zoomies and chase each other all over the house. She used to follow behind which was hilarious. I likened it to seeing your Grandma's station wagon trying to keep up with a pair of Ferraris .

They were never separated again. There was no need.

I have no clue.  The oldest one I could find on my profile was 4/2016, and I joined and was active starting in October of 2015.

That was over 10 years ago so I don't remember exactly.  I am sure it was something to do with Patches.  He had reoccurring sickness.  I was doing the vet hopping and he had been hospitalized twice, I was going broke with no resolution in sight.
