Hi everyone :) I joined late last week but didn't get around to introducing myself. I'm 40 from Texas and have had cats pretty much my entire life. Most were Tabbies, though there has been a Tuxedo and Russian Blue mix along the way as well.  Unfortunately my last furbaby (that's her in my avatar - her name was Chuckles, Chuck for short) crossed the rainbow bridge not too long ago, but I still have 2 others that belong my boss who works from home that I think of as mine - a gorgeous black short hair Domestic and a flamepoint Siamese, both males. The latter, Troy, spends a lot of time outside during the day, but greets me every morning on the driveway usually with a lot to say, and I'm sure those of you who own or have owned a Siamese know all about the kind of chatterboxes they can be :)  Panthera is primarly indoor and hangs around the office a fair amount of time, and with his personality and penchant for getting himself into cute and funny situations while both awake and asleep, he keeps things interesting at work.

Here are the partners in crime from a couple months back ... Troy having breakfast while Panthera is on lookout:

Welcome to the Cat Site, I'm glad you told us a little more about yourself. You have come to the right site, there is a wealth of experienced cat people here who are very helpful in all kinds of situations, or willing to lend an ear if you want to talk. You have some beauties there, they both look young and healthy. I'm so sorry about Chuck, I know how empty your house and your heart can be when they leave, I'm so glad you have these two to occupy your mind and your time, it truly helps. You are very attached to those two, even though they aren't technically yours, so I guess you can be foster mom! Although I'm sure you know NO ONE ever 'owns' a cat, they allow us to be a part of their world (and secretly love us very much). I have a Flamepoint too, and yes he is blue eyed, always talking and ALWAYS ornery! He is more of a handful then my other four cats put together! If he doesn't get to go out soon enough, he knocks things off of the nearest surface. Thanks for your post and keep us up to date!

Thanks for the welcome :D

Here are the boys' faces btw. Panthera's pic is about a month old, but I just took this one of Troy when I got back from lunch. It was raining so he was confined to the garage, therefore a little on the perturbed side lol.
