3 month old female kitten is usually adamant about morning feeding. She is a feral but touchable. Hasnt eaten since 2 pm yesterday. I know that's not that long but still worried. Causes?

It can be a number of things.  So she is free and outside?

She could for example, have found food somewhere else, and isnt not hungry at all.

She can got constipated, and because of this isnt no hungry...

It can also be a number of problems.   How are her looks and behavior otherwise?  Does she visibly look sickly?

Do you have possibility to catch her, and take her to a vet if necessary?

I would try to tempt her with something really special, tuna, cat treats, etc. and see if she is eating at all. One day isn't unusual for a cat not to eat, she may be not feeling well or like was said above may have ate something she caught. If she goes two days then you will have to decide what to do, bring her in or at least confine her to watch her more closely.  She may be stressed out about something, watch to see if another cat is bothering her or there are strange animals around, they quit eating then too. Keep us posted, I hope she starts eating again soon!

Have seen both groundhogs and possums there too but have seemed to co exist. Small colony of 4 cats. One loner, the kitten and two other cats hang together. Been feeding them all wet and dry both for years. Will check on her after work. Thx for responses. I know it's still early but wanted to be on top of it if it continues.

Do you spay and neuter them?

The kitten can get pregnant as young as 5 or 6 months old, and your colony will grow by several cats. I can look for a low-cost spy/neuter clinic in your area for you if you post you city and state. [emoji]128522[/emoji]

She has an appointment on the 23rd this month to get spayed, wormed and rabies vaccination for $45 dollars. The other twogirls are spayed too but the boy won't go in the trap since he has seen what happens so many times
