Hello to hellocat. Hello hello. Welcome both you and double seven to the Catsite :wavey:

Great to hear that you adopted double seven. She is a lovely cat [emoji]10084[/emoji]️
Maybe she is sizing up people with her looks. The say looks can kill :lol3:

Anyway, we hope to see more photos of her please.

She is absolutely adorable! It's not unusual at all for cats to stare, they are very curious creatures and want to figure everything out before they commit themselves to doing anything. She may be unsure of new things, or is a quiet, reserved cat and is just observing what is going on.  If people say she is not easy to be pleased. I would lean towards her being reserved and more shy and wants to feel more confident before she warms up to new things in her life. She looks relaxed on the picture, just taking things in. A beautiful little girl, thank you so much for giving her a home.

I think you are right. She might feel curious and just stay alert. It's not a bad thing to remain  vigilant. Keep her safe and make her happy is the most important thing.

Hi hellocat. Your kitty Double Seven is so beautiful! She is just adorable! All cats like to stare. They are just curious and taking everything in, simply observing. Give her time and she will warm up to you. She has only been with you a short time. Spend time talking to her, playing with toys with her. Try sitting her on the couch to watch t.v. with you. She will warm up. She may not be a lap cat, but that is okay too. She may just enjoy sitting near you and keep you company with you petting her. She is so lovely and loves you too.

Oh, and more pictures please.
I just love looking at kitty pictures.
Each and every kitty is so adorable, yet different. They are all unique and special in their very own way.
