I got a camera and already have tons of pictures of my cats so I decided to share some. Feel free to critique my pictures and give me some tips. My camera is a Canon Rebel SL1 if you have any advice about the specific kind.

So here's some pictures:

Yeah, it's a lot. I couldn't choose. But if anyone wants me too, I'd be happy to post some more! Frost doesn't like his picture being taken though so right now I only have the two.

Wonderful photos. You have a really good eye for capturing your cats expressions.  Well done!

Great photos. Love the facial expressions on your cats. You have great photography skills. Your cats are also great models.

Thank you both! I absolutely love photography and not having a camera has been driving me crazy because I always see things I want to take pictures of. This is my first real camera. My last one was a ridiculously slow point and shoot. So I'm very happy now that I have this and my pictures are coming out good! Though I have to admit, the camera does most of the work. I don't even have to try.

I agree they are good models. Well, Ember and Ash are. All I have to do is open a window and Ash is there. He was falling asleep as I was sticking the camera in his face. I swear Ember showed up every time I started taking pictures. She seems to almost enjoy it. Frost, however, has not been making things easy. The one time he held still long enough to take pictures, it was too dark and with no natural lighting.
