My cat gave birth today and it had been 10 hours since she gave birth. Our vet said that he should check her to see if theres any other kitten left in her. There was no kitten but he said that her bladder was full and she should pee. Her litter is in the same room with the her and the kittens but she doesnt seem to care about the litter and she didnt use it when she was hanging around in the room. Is it normal that she has to pee but she doesn't ? I get worried really easily sorry :)

By the way my native language is not English so I might make some grammer mistakes while responding.

She will pee eventually. I imagine she is mostly resting now. My cat did not pee for about 12 hours after giving birth because she did not want to leave her kittens [emoji]128522[/emoji]

My cat gave birth 2 days ago to 4 beautiful kittens. 3 of them do drink milk from their mother and they are bigger compared to the 4th kitten. 4th kitten is smaller and wont drink her mothers milk even tho I move her to the nipple. The kittens usually cry but she cries a lot more and its louder. Actually we didnt expect a fourth one because our vet didnt see a 4th one in Luna's body and we checked her 2 times. Our vet said that we cant do anything about that kitten and she will probably die soon which does happen in most of the cases. Usually one of the kittens will die he said. To feed that kitten he recommanded us to feed her with kitty milk by using a medicine dropper. We try to feed her that way but she doesnt let us do it. She moves a lot when I pick her up and she closes her face with her hands. Basically I cant feed her that way too. Is there ANYTHING more that I can do to keep her alive ? Is she really gonna die ?
I'm so depressed and sad I dont know what to do :(

No, the kitten does not need to die!

Wrap the kitten in a towel like a burrito. Make sure kitten and formula are warm. Feed every hour.

Put some honey on her gums to give her strength. Then put the dropper into her cheek. She doesn't need to open her mouth. One drop at a time and let her swallow.

You can wrap her in anything, even a t shirt.

Take a deep breath and calm down. You can do this, but you must start feeding her now.

You need her wrap her up enough that she can't get out. Yes, gum is where the tooth attaches.

Gums= pink skin above the teeth. Don't give up even though it's hard. I know. I've done it before too. Try not to stress out too hard. The babies can feel it and it will stress them out too. Calm down. Breathe. Just keep trying. After you wrap her up, hold her front legs in your hand, firmly but gently to keep her from squirming so much. And like peanut said, 1 drop at a time then let her swallow. It only takes 1 drop in the lungs to develop pneumonia. Just try to be calm.
