Treating feline breast cancer with conium?

My cat Katie has breast cancer.  My holistic vet has recommended homeopathic treatment with Conium maculatum. This is a remedy made from poison hemlock, but supposedly diluted to where it's helpful, not harmful.  A 30C potency is a dilution of 10 to the 30th power, SO diluted that if you had the sugar pellet or Spring water analyzed, it would be too diluted to detect any of the Conium. So, homeopathic remedies are supposed to be VERY SAFE.

1) Has anyone else ever tried this for any ailment at all?  And if so, did it have any side effects?

2) Has anyone else ever tried this specifically for breast cancer?  And if so, did it help?

Thanks, I'm frantic with worry.  I'm recently widowed and have no one to help me with this problem or with some of my other cats' (thankfully less dangerous, but tiring) problems.

I'm so sorry to hear about your cat's diagnosis.  I have not personally heard of this method of treatment here on The Cat Site, or anywhere else, but I guess if it were my cat, I'd be willing to give it a shot.  The surgery for this type of cancer is long and involved and VERY invasive, plus the follow-up treatment is pretty involved, so I'm not sure I would put a cat through it, honestly.  But I wouldn't just give up, so might try something holistic.  It's better than nothing, right.  I mean, if you do nothing, she doesn't have much of a chance, but if you try this, she's got some chance, so.....

Keep us posted as it might just give others hope
