Good poultry-free wet food for my cat? Was feeding EVO 95% Beef.

Late last year I purchased 3 cases of EVO 95% Beef (on sale, naturally) for my poultry-intolerant kitty. Am down to my last two cans, and imagine my surprise that it is no longer available. So now I am scrambling to find a substitute.

She is extremely sensitive to poultry- any chicken liver, chicken meal, chicken fat (or turkey) will cause near instant vomiting and diarrhea. Sometimes both at the same time- discovered that after months of poultry free food, and then gave her some Taste of the Wild Venison and Salmon dry food- should have read the ingredients (first thing is chicken meal), but in my defense their Trout and Smoked Salmon contain absolutely no poultry ingredients.

She will eat the Taste of the Wild Trout and Salmon dry food, but she doesn't even touch any fish-type canned food.

Local pet shop suggested Nature's Variety Instinct Beef formula. Cat gobbles it up, absolutely loves it. But then I see it has cranberries in it, something that I am reasonably informed is not good for cats.

Anyone have a suggestion for my little trouble-maker?

Thank you,

Mark

Here are some brands and flavors that don't have chicken or turkey or duck in them in any capacities and little to now vegetables:

Nature's Variety LID: Rabbit, Lamb (has peas)

Ziwi Peak: Beef, Lamb, Venison, Rabbit & lamb. (no veggies at all)

Natural Balance LID: Venison & Peas flavor (has peas)

Hound & Gatos: Beef, Pork

I would steer clear of fish for the reasons explained in this article http://www.littlebigcat.com/nutrition/why-fish-is-dangerous-for-cats/

Fish is also a known allergen for many cats and your's is already developed sensitivity to poultry, so i wouldn't want to risk it.

But some people think it's ok to feed some fish based cat food in moderation, like once or twice a week or as a treat. Some good fish based brands are Tiki Cat & Weruva, but read the ingredients so not to get ones that also have chicken.

I would look for these brands at the independent pet stores in your area or online. The only online store that i know of that sells both individual cans & cases is Only Natural Pet: http://www.onlynaturalpet.com/cats/

That's all that comes to mind, but someone else here might have more suggestions for your kitty.

Yes, Wild Calling is another good one with some interesting flavors like Buffalo and Alligator along with classics like Beef or Rabbit.
