So a friend of mine found two kittens huddled together in the turn around of the highway on her way home. She couldn't keep them, so I adopted them. We took them to the vet the day after we got them and were told they were about 5-6 weeks old. They're almost 8-9 weeks old now and I realize I know nothing about them! (Aside from personalities of course.) I have no idea of breed, but I think their color is spotted tabbies? The boy has a lot of agouti hairs where his sister has been gaining more. I have no idea how big they'll grow though.

For personalities, they're both very friendly and sweet. The boy is super affectionate and will "cry" when he climbs places or wants you to pick him up. She is far more curious and brave, jumping off things where her brother cries for help/attention.

One is spotted tabby for sure, the other seems to be a broken mackerel - not easy to see.

Both seems to be rather slender to be a typical domestic.   So may be some  Ancestry?

Not necessary because of being spotted tabby - domestic spotted tabbies DO exist, after all, but because of the slenderness.

So more pic are welcome, and doubly so, when they had become a little older...   ;)

I'm happy to provide more pictures! I stay at home, so I spend all day with them. My boyfriend likes to see pictures and videos of them while he's at work.
But they are still young, so I can take more as they get older. They're just now at about 8 weeks old. When we got them almost 3 weeks ago they fit into my palm. Now they're huge in comparison!

That was nice of you to adopt them. What are their names?
I was happy to. I was trying to adopt a kitten but the rescue stopped responding. I was heart broken at how they were found, but happy to have them. The girl is named Ceres and the boy is Gideon.

They already have such beautiful eyes. I couldn't quite catch how lovely they are. Kind of like the flash of labradorite.
