Hi everyone my cat is now 64 days
She has looked slimmer for the last 4 days and I thought she was starting 3 nights ago pacing couldn't sit down properly because t nothing more happened she is literally just sleeping round the clock and has been like that for a few weeks now I've been able to feel the babies move for 3 weeks now but this week they are alot less active I'm guesing due to no room left . How long should I leave her before taking her to the vets shes not I. Any distress just looks fed up

You should take her to the vet if she seems to be in distress. Otherwise, she will deliver when she's ready.

Do you have nests set up for her? Can you keep her inside and away from intact males until the kittens have weaned?

Sounds like babies will be here soon! As long as she doesn't seem distressed I don't see any need for a vet visit! Can't wait to see pictures of the babies!

Cat pregnancy runs 65-68 days on average. She will probably go into labor in the next 2-3 days! [emoji]128522[/emoji]

She does suckle she too?

The theoretical amount is 8ml/0z / day of kmr or goats milk.  Say a tiny one 60g, 2 oz, needs 16ml a day, say every two hours,  is about 1,5ml a time.

But if she suckles too, it wont prob be as much needed.  Say half of it, and  compare with the scale.  If she gains nicely, minimum 6+g, its good, if she doesnt gain much, you increase, if she gains 10+, you may give less...

Tummy down, head up, may be diagonally slithgly raised, in the corner of the mouth, slowly dropwise, so she has easy to swallow.

If she swallows nicely, it can go fairly quickly...

Burp afterwards.

I see the smallest is 71g, its not much, but its not desperately little, so good you hold on yellow alert, but no need for red alert as yet.

What you must observe, he isnt bullied from the teats by the bigger ones - which is always a real danger...  You can try to let the two smallest get their quality time when the biggest are asleep, and the bigger theirs...  Rotate, sort of

How are the kittens?

You'll want to give your smallest 2 kittens 1mL each every hour for now. As they gain weight and strength, give more.

You may want to supplement all of them right now. None are very big. As mom's milk comes in the bigger ones may need less supplementing.

Under 90 grams is premature birth weight. You want to help the tiny ones get past 90 grams soon.

Go drop by drop so they do not aspirate. Tummy down, head up.

Are they all nursing? How are they taking the syringe?

You need to take the kitten in another room away from mom to feed it.
