Hi everyone, this is Prince we rescued his mom a little over 3 months ago while she was pregnant, well today we drive him to his forever home, is it weird that I'm feeling so emotional over this? I feel like I gave up one of my children, I feel so guilty over giving him up for adoption but I really couldn't keep him, our lease prohibits pets. His mom had 6 kittens and I'm in the process of rehoming all of them, he's the first one to go. I'm trying my hardest not to cry.

A foster mom just like you raised our Little Mercy. She is in her forever home because there was a foster mommy to care for her until she came home to us. You feel like you're losing a child and we feel like we gained one.

It went very well, my daughter took him in and stayed a while, he adjusted very well so far I can't wait to have updates from his new family.

You did a wonderful thing for these babies. You are their angel and none of them will ever forget you or all the love and kindness you showed them. It is so hard letting them go but you are giving a wonderful gift to these families who are looking for a new family member. They are taking your love with them and there is a special place in those little hearts that will always be yours. 


The Cat Goddess holds those who foster and then rehome her babies with loving families in very high regard. She considers you heroes because that is what you are.  Prince is adorable. I wish him a very long, happy, healthy life with his new family.

Thank you for your beautiful words, they made me smile and cry at the same time. It's so rewarding to know these kittens made it and that I was lucky enough to come across them, they changed me for the best ,
without them even knowing.
