Hi. My 9 month cat gave birth to 3beautiful kittens this morning. She woke me up and then proceeded to give birth on me! She has fed and cleaned them and us treating them well until I come to leave her side where she becomes very vocal and follows me leaving her kittens alone. I'm not sure what to do for the best.....any ideas?

How long has it been are you sure she is done! My cat would of given birth on me in my bed if I hadn't noticed what was happening and lead her to her nest box. Also she had 3 then a 3 hour break and to more45 minutes apart.
Have you helped her to get in a nice nest: large box or such with side cut away so that the kittens are safe but she doesn't have to step to high? Some soft blanket or towels .
It is early Iit might take a bit for her to settle especially as she is young.
Remember not to let her outside until you have her spaye or she could get pregnant again and that won't be good for her or the kittens.
Is her litter box in the same room but not to close and has she eaten since . I held food and water in small dishes up to my mumma cat and she was vert greatful.
Also nursing her kittens will help her mumma cat instinct set in so sit with her and tell her what a good job she's done.

Hi X she's eaten she's definitely stopped at three it's 10 hrs since the beauties came. We've moved her to a nesting box in my bedroom....she's already been in this for a good week as that's the quietest in the house. She's being stunning with the three of them....but when I leave the room she gets distressed and runs to me meowing..I'm a bit happier now as she eventually goes back. Think I was just having a panic as it's all new to me X thank you for your kind response x
