I lost a baby a couple years back from cancer. So sad to lose them. I have another baby she is 13 and just found out she has breast cancer. They removed the lump and sent it off and it was positive for cancer. I have been reading about it and trying to decide what to do for her. Just like my other fur baby I don't want her to suffer but I don't want to let her go. My other baby was 16 and very healthy until the tumor. We had it removed 3 times until we couldn't no more. My girl was lucky it wasn't in the lympth nodes and that is good they said. I haven't been able to find much about that particular subject. I know I feel lost and sad facing the loss of my baby too.

I was just wondering if someone else ever had this experience with breast cancer in their kitty

I'm sorry to read that you are dealing with this, and for a second time.   It can be very hard to avoid thinking about the past loss and making assumptions that things will be the same again, but that doesn't have to be.

I don't have experience with cats having breast cancer, and the cat I did have with cancer had tumours in her brain and eyes that were not detected until very advanced, but I am sure that there are many things your vet will be able to offer based on the details of what they have found.   Have they talked with you about how advanced your 13 year old cat's cancer is, and what treatments they think will be best suited for her?

Hoping she is in good health other than this recent diagnosis and is strong for what ever treatment is necessary.    Also that someone else who has gone through this like you have will see your thread and come in with other information and support.
