I signed up for that village place and it won't let me log in.....I have the user name and password right....I'm getting ticked!!!

Anyone else know of some cheap or free image hosting sites...I want to share the new pictures of Emmett with everyone.

I use photobucket.com - they even put the codes for you so you don't have to do any work

Is this something that workes like imagestation? I feel so many people are having broblems with imagestations, just wondering if this worked the same, so maybe that would be a better alternative?

This one allows remote linking Sesselja, they give you all the codes so you can remote link.

Sorry, this is a bit stupid question, but...is "remote linking" the same thing that is done when posting photos with imagestation? (I know how it´s done, just not sure what it is called
)

It's the same concept. But in reality, remote linking is against imagestations terms of service. People have been using imagestation as an image host even though it is not supposed to be such.

Oh, I see. I thought that was one of the things imagestation was for
What is it then supposed to be used for? Making albums at that location, and giving people the link to it? Or maybe something else? (I'm new at this, I have only used imagestation to post photos here, sorry for sounding very silly
)

You don't sound silly at all!

Unfortunately, No, Imagestation is not meant to be used for remote linking. I used to think that was what they were for too because it actually listed it here on thecatsite as such in the "how to post pictures" thread (I don't think it does any longer). Imagestation actually sent Sicy a letter a while back telling her to stop right away.

You are absolutely right about what imagestation is meant to be used for! It's for making photo albums and sharing with friends by sending them a link to your album. The only thing is, if they don't have an account with imagestation, they have to sign up to view your album. YOu can also do things from your photo albums such as order prints, posters, calenders, printed photo albums and more.
