My 3 year old cat Montana has colitis. She's on antibiotics, but only started today. She's normally very food orientated, but just a whiff of food send her running to the litter box to have a very wet bowel movement. The vet dais she should be fine after the antibiotics. But I'm really worried.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? Any advice?

So did they determine it was caused by some bacteria?  If so, then the round of antibiotic should help her out.  Otherwise, if there is some other cause, it may not go away right away.  Was she tested for worms, other parasites, fungus?  Did you discuss different food options?

No the vet didn't test her for bacteria, she was wormed though. She's doing better today, she wants to eat. We discussed different food options, and litter box setup. I'll experiment and see how things go.
