Dosing egg yolk lecithin?

I  buy Swanson's brand of powdered egg yolk lecithin.  I am giving each cat 2 capsules a day. I know this is a lot more than most people give their cats but is it harmful?  That dose seems to work quite well for both cats.

I've often wondered if even 1 1/2 capsules might be harmful over the long run.  Darko was getting one full capsule and ended up testing positive for higher than normal cholesterol.  I backed off to 1/2 capsule because of it.  Not sure if that was the cause or not, and he hasn't needed another bloodtest since, but I think there is nothing wrong with asking your Vet their thoughts on the matter.
