Hello I'm new to this site,I've been reading a lot of great information on here. I have one 16-17 week dmh male (Panda) and a 14 week dsh female (Minnie). I switched my kittens gradually to a grain free high protein food. I was feeding them blue buffalo indoor kitten formula and transitioned them slowly to Evo grain free turkey and chicken formula. They also eat twice a day fancy feast classic and kitten formulas. I was rotating nutro kitten and purina pro plan kitten formulas along with the fancy feast wet food. He has been wormed three times and neutered. He is up to date on shots I adopted him from the shelter on June 15 at about 10 weeks. They have been on Evo alone for about 1 week. Minnie seems to be fine, should I wait it out or feed him the previous food. Thanks in advance for any advice.

So it's just gas, no diarrhea?  I think perhaps the Evo is simply too rich for him.  Maybe back down on that and give him a mix and see what happens.

Additionally, you could try giving them both some probiotics.  For kittens, maybe 1/2 capsule split between am and pm, mixed into their wet food.  We use human ones.

He just has gas and so does Minnie, I didn't notice it for her because she likes to hang out with my husband and daughter. So what should I mix the Evo with? Or should I just save the Evo until they are older and switch them to a different kind of food. What would you recommend?

If they didn't have gas on the Blue Buffalo they were eating before, then why not mix it with that?  OR, why not just feed them wet?  Many people think a diet of all wet food is much better for them.  Would that work.  (if you are feeding kibble because you've heard it's good for their teeth, it isn't necessarily so   Read this if that's why you are feeding dry food:  http://www.thecatsite.com/a/does-dry-food-actually-clean-your-cats-teeth
